Gothpera—formerly known as Trillb-e—is not just an opera. It’s a seismic shift in how audiences experience narrative, identity, and control. Blending immersive theatre, branching story-lines, and app-driven interaction, Gothpera invites viewers to become co-authors of the emotional arc. It’s opera reimagined for the digital age: raw, resonant, and radically participatory.

Created by inventor and concept architect Myka, with music by acclaimed artist David Ford, Gothpera explores themes of digital autonomy, creative manipulation, and the fragile line between performance and reality. Audiences don’t just watch—they steer the story, influence the characters, and confront the consequences of their choices.

At its core is Trillb-e, a synthetic performer caught between algorithmic obedience and emotional awakening. Her nemesis, Svengal-e, is a charismatic manipulator whose venomous line—“You were never meant to feel”—still echoes through test audiences. The opera’s branching endings and interactive app allow each performance to unfold uniquely, shaped by collective audience input.
